ケアンズの探鳥会がフェスティバルケアンズの公式プログラムとしてのバードウォッチングを担当するようになって今年で３年目。世界最長のバードウォッチングイベントとも言われるフェスティバルケアンズのバードウォッチングのプログラムは以下の通りで私も幾つかに顔を出す予定。先日新聞社がケアンズ探鳥会の主なメンバーを海岸に集めて写真を撮った。私もいたけど、あのノリは勘弁して欲しいので写真からは全力で逃げた。ケアンズ在住の人は、５レンジャーみたいなポーズをとらされている探鳥会のメンバーの集合写真を新聞などで見るかもしれない。
